My name is Evangeline Simmons and I am a RIT student working towards my Bachelors in Science for English. My skills include close reading comprehension and analysis, both which are keen to working in jobs with endless documentation. I also am very collaborative when it comes to projects, often guiding or leading others if they are struggling. When I was much younger, I told myself I wanted to be a veterinarian. I did like writing sometimes but I didn’t think I would want to make it my future career. But over time, I realized that medical practice is not actually something I would enjoy. So for a brief time in my life, I was uncertain of what I wanted to do with my life. But as recently as my sophomore year of high school, my love of writing was revitalized through the countless opportunities for creative writing in my school. My favorite kinds of things to write are opinionated argumentative pieces, any genre of fantasy, and I’m currently trying my hand at a romance story.
